Open Day Trip from London

This is an instructor-led top roping day, open to anyone, at any level, with a maximum 1:4 ratio. More than that and we don't feel that you'll receive the attention you need. Your instructor will meet you in London and take you to the area with the best weather on the day, ensuring maximum time on the rock with the best conditions. We provide any kit that you may need, and tailor the choice of routes to your ability.

Experience needed: none

U-18 PARTICIPANTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PAYING ADULT PARENT OR GUARDIAN.

These trips need a minimum of 2 participants to run. If not enough people book, then we will refund you.

Outline for the day:

07:30 Meet at an agreed location in London, drive to the crag
11:00 Arrive, climb
17:30 Depart for London
21:30/22:00 Arrive home

I recently attended a trip with Head-on Out to Stanage in the Peak District. The trip was well organised. Our instructor Ed was really good at explaining how to set up anchors and quickly got us on the rock.
I would thoroughly recommend that indoor climbers wishing to make the transition to outdoors try at least one trip with Head On Out before going it alone. They will help you develop and refresh your skills as well as providing you with a great day out.
I don't doubt that Head On Out can cater for all types of climber but my main aim from the Stanage trip was to refresh some skills and improve my outdoor rock climbing experience.
